Dolphins of the Bahamas

Dolphins of the Bahamas

Since 2009, I’ve worked with the Wild Dolphin Project led by Dr. Denise Herzing. Having spent a near decade of my life with a group of dolphins in the Bahamas is what motivated me to become a storyteller. I learned the animals as individuals and hoped that if I could help others connect to them as individuals too, they might be inspired to take positive action toward our environment.

I’ve worked with the project as a researcher and photographer, led expeditions, and currently hold an appointment as a research associate. My goal is to take images to help the outreach and science communication for the project, and also for my own visual storytelling efforts.
